Chemistry III: Transesterification and synthesis of PET, manufacture of poly(methylmethacrylat) via radical polymerization of methylmethacrylat, 3D-printing of a small object

Biology I: Cells and extracelluar matrix interaction

Physics I:

• at D-MATL: Capillary rheometry, viscoelasticity of the polymer melt, simulation of a polymer  
• at the EMPA: Powder diffractometry, single crystal radiography, X-ray flourescence analysis and texture measurement.
• at D-Phys:  two experiments (e.g. optical diffraction, electrical and heat conduction).

Conditions for attestation: Carrying all experiments successfully out, all reports are acceptated  (each report has to been submitted within two weeks after finishing the corresponding experiment) and at the end of the lab course a talk is given.
