Introduction

This track concerns the science and engineering behind the next generation of materials to advance the performance of medical implants and engineered tissues, nanoscale drug delivery systems and contrast agents for biomedical imaging, biologically inspired nanomaterials and devices, and the interfacing of cells with engineered nanosystems. This “Molecular Bioengineering” track is part of the “Master’s program in Materials”, as well as of the new “Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering”.
