The 5th European School on Multiferroics will take place at the Monte Verita Conference Center, Ascona, Switzerland from January 29 to February 3 2012. The School forms part of the series of European Schools on Multiferroics, with previous Schools held in Grenoble, Girona, Groningen and L'Aquila.

Seit Wochen hat sich der Bergsturz oberhalb des Tessiner Dorfes Preonzo angekündigt. In der Nacht vom 14. auf den 15. Mai war es dann so weit. "Web Hosting Plus" - Next generation Web Content Management for ETH Zurich
As part of the ETH World program the IT services of ETH evaluated and customized in close collaboration with the IT organisations of the Departements a Web Content Management System to reduce the efforts for creation and maintaince of ETHs websites.
The system, based on OpenSource Software, is offered as a central service, free of costs. IT organisations of institutes and departements may also use the system on their own servers.

- Easy-to-use, browserbased interface
- Plattform-independend WYSIWYG editor
- no HTML/XML/CGI knowledge required
- no additional software on client-side
- connected to the campus-wide user management system
- connected to the central informations systems to generate lists of staff members, students, lectures on the fly
- role-based, time-driven publishing workflow
- easy integration with portals and other modern cms-es
