RSS - Really Simple Syndication

The RSS formats provide web content or summaries of web content together with links to the full versions of the content, and other meta-data. This information is delivered as an XML file called an RSS feed, webfeed, RSS stream, or RSS channel. iCalendar

iCalendar is a standard (RFC 2445) for calendar data exchange. The standard is also known as "iCal". It is implemented/supported by a large number of products, including the Apple iCal application, Chandler, Lotus Notes, ScheduleWorld, Korganizer, Mozilla Calendar (including Mozilla Sunbird), Mulberry, Ximian Evolution, Simple Groupware, Windows Calendar (included in Windows Vista) and, to an extent, Microsoft Outlook.
