Access Samba shares from Windows Vista and Windows 7
Operating System: Windows Vista/7 First version: 30.10.2009 by Marc Petitmermet Last modification: 30.10.2009 by Marc Petitmermet
- in Start Menu enter "secpol.msc" in the search field
- select the found program, click on the right mouse button and
choose "Run as administrator" - in the Local Security Policy application go to Local Policies -> Security Options
- double click on "Network security: LAN Manager authentication level"
- set the value to "Send Lm & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated"
