Peter Skrabal

Peter Skrabal received his Diploma in Chemistry in 1965 from Karl-Franzens Univiersity in Graz and his Ph. D. in Chemistry in 1967 from the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg for a thesis carried out at the Max-Planck Institut für Medizinische Forschung (Heidelberg). In 1968 he then joined the Dyestuff and Textile Chemistry Group in the Laboratory of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry (since 2003 Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering, ICB) at ETH for Post Doctoral work and in 1971 he became Oberassistent. 1976-2003 he was head of NMR Service Group for the Institute of Polymers (IfP) and ICB.

Peter Skrabal retired end of 2003 from his position at the ETH Zurich, was active as lecturer until 2005 and published in 2009 a book on spectroscopy for students.
