Ralph Spolenak appointed Associate Professor

At its meeting on 18 and 19 May 2010 the ETH Board appointed D-MATL professor Ralph Spolenak as associate professor of nanometallurgy.

Prof. Ralph Spolenak

Prof. Spolenak (*1971), currently also director of the Materials Research Center (MRC) at ETH Zurich, is an acknowledged scientist in the field of nanometallurgy. His research interests include the design of novel nanomaterials. In 2009, Ralph Spolenak’s teaching achievements were honoured with the Golden Owl, the prize awarded by students at ETH Zurich, and with the Credit Suisse Award for Best Teaching.
